I'm always interested in solutions to issues that other communities have faced. Although not everything will work everywhere, there may be nuggets of things to adapt locally that can have impact on issues we care about. Rarely does a story about a community that managed to resist gentrification also include specific policy items that contribute to the retention of the community character. So this story was kind of useful, I thought.
