Members of Logan Aircraft-Noise Working Group are invited to attend the quarterly meeting of Boston West Fair Skies (BWFS) advocacy group at Medford Public Library on Wednesday, January 24, from 7-9 pm.Featured speaker at the meeting will be Myron Kassaraba, Belmont's representative on the Massport Community Advisory Committee and a founder of the Logan Airport Runway 33L Municipal Working Group, focused on mitigating the impact of airplane noise over Arlington, Cambridge, Malden, Medford, Somerville, Watertown, and other nearby communities.
Medford's MIT Noise Study organizers Peter Houk and Luke Preisner are expected to attend this meeting in January, along with city and state officials from around the area. Given the increased concentration of aircraft flights over our communities during the past year, members of our group are encouraged to attend this meeting and participate in the discussion.
