GLX public meeting, Somerville High School, Mar 7 at 6:30pm

This meeting will be the first Wednesday of the month--like our regular WHNA meeting. Should we move ours? Should we suggest people go to this? I don't know what else we have on the agenda (besides that rumor of some proposal for Star Market....?)

The Green Line Extension (GLX) project will host a public meeting:

Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 6:30 to 8:00 PM, at the Somerville High School Auditorium, 81 Highland Avenue, Somerville, MA 02143.

The purpose of the meeting will be for GLX Constructors, the Design Build contractor for the GLX project, to provide the public with an outlook of construction activities anticipated in the coming months.

Neighborhood cleanup: save the date: Saturday Apr 21, 2018

It's not official-official yet, but at a meeting tonight it looks like the city neighborhood clean up event will be April 21. If we can coordinate it with the city's big event this year it will be easier than our small band of folks who had to do an offshoot cleaning session.

They'll provide the gloves, bags, pick up locations, all that stuff for us if we are part of the larger group. And there's food afterwards, we can meet new people and talk up our group. 

Save the date on your calendar. Pull out those high-visibility WHNA t-shirts.
