Sustainaville week is coming! Lots of events (including the wind turbine tour in another post below)

Get your WHNA t-shirts ready so we can raise awareness of our efforts! This year we'll have the support of the city and Groundwork folks on the day of the event. Go to the boathouse first, and they ask you to sign in (they get grant money based on public participation). They'll give us bags and gloves, and then we break into neighborhood groups for specific action.

Blessing of the Bays Boathouse32 Shore DriveSomerville, MA 02145Come celebrate Earth Day with the City of Somerville, Groundwork Somerville, and Comcast Cares for the annual Spring Cleanup. Afterwards, join your neighbors at the Community Barbeque for food, fun, and information about electric vehicles, renewable energy, climate change, biking, and other City of Somerville sustainability programs.
Breakfast from 9-10am, neighborhood clean-up from 10am-12pm, and Barbeque from 12 -2pm.
