Earn up to $150 For Research Opportunity
Tufts University and the Somerville Transportation Equity Partnership (STEP) are recruiting paid research participants for a near highway pollution study beginning from October 31st to November 16th. Participants are asked to attend three 3 hour long sessions. Study sessions will always be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Community Access Room in Assembly Row (Somerville, MA). Participants only need to come one day a week for three consecutive weeks (for example, if they are assigned a Tuesday block, they will come three consecutive Tuesdays). During the study, participants only need to sit still and be awake for two hours while we measure their blood pressure and oxygen level. We asked participants to refrain from caffeinated beverage and physical activities on the mornings of the study sessions as it will impact the blood pressure data we are seeking. At the end of each three hour session, participants will be paid $50 cash.
